The Printer Body

I decided to use wood and some long screws and nuts and 8 mm rods that i can found in the hardware store to make the body so i started by designing the wood parts and drawing a template for a CNC router to cut wooden parts needed.

After cutting wood in a woodworking shop it's time to assemble the body 

I wasn't excited to use wood but The result body was stronger and heavier than i thought and that gives it the stability and the ability to dump vibration made by other moving parts


The roof was designed to catch the stepper motors without any mounting parts because the steppers sits between the two wood layers in a gap for each stepper.
